Our sons and brothers, the soldiers fighting in Gaza (and of course that is who they are) need warm socks, gloves, and scarves that are made with specifications and are not given for free.
We are directly in contact with the commanders and officers in Gaza. Anything we purchase is a specific request from them, and gets sent to them immediately.
Soldiers out in the field need the following:
* Package that includes one pair of thermal socks, gloves, scarves made with specifications to be sent to soldier in combat: 120 NIS or $32.
* Pair of gloves 52 NIS or $ 13. Specific for combat- warm but
thin enough to operate gun/ machinery.
* Single scarf 20 NIS or $ 5.5. Specific for combat- warm but easy
to maneuver in.
* Thermal socks 52 NIS or $ 13. Specific for combat- warm but fit well with army boots.
* Other necessities required for hygiene- Toothpaste, Baby wipes (since there are no showers).
Every penny you contribute today will be spent on either basic needs for soldiers in combat right now, or on families who aren’t managing with what the war is doing to them. Children spend entire days in shelters while their parents have to work. They are not allowed outside so as to be shielded from images of war. They need to be provided with toys!
To pay for thermal socks for soldiers in combat that are not provided by the army, or to contribute towards a family’s costs of temporarily relocating from the South, please specify how you would like your funds to be allocated. See below for detailed information.
