David Draiman Wants To Move To Israel – “Only here is it OK to be a Jew” – A Ynet זירת המטאל Interview

Ynet reports: With all the problems Israel has explaining its position to the outside world, one ardent supporter has risen: an international rock star who wants to make aliyah and build a house here: David Draiman, vocalist of rock band Disturbed. “Soldiers, yeshiva boys and even girls in ulpan want my signature,” he says… he even wants to move to Israel!

Being very very quiet about it, for a few years already, David Draiman, one of the biggest rock/metal performers in the world has come to Israel in recent times. The man really loves Israel, and he would make aliyah if his band only had the opportunity to.

His face maybe isn’t as recognized as James Hetfield from Metallica. But David Draiman, vocalist of the American band Disturbed, leads one of the biggest bands in the genre. The huge success of Disturbed has only grown in the last months. When the band released its last album, “Asylum,” in the first week of its release it went to the number one spot on the Billboard charts….
