Metallica fans in Israel still boycott the show

While the prices of the bronze and silver area has been reduced as well as the seats in the balcony, most fans are still not happy for the price of the golden ring tickets  that has been reduced to 990 shekels ($263), Their argument is that there are no differences between rich people and others in the Israeli metal scene.

We all want the chance to see Metallica in the first row or at least have an equal chance to get there as any other person who can afford to buy a ticket to the golden ring. That is the essence of a metal show and the producer doesn’t understand it.

That is why other fans who believe  that the first boycott hadn’t reached the goals and as the producer said that the prices might change after couple of weeks, had decided to establish a new group in Facebook.

They hope to get more reasonable price that first boycott organizers hadn’t gotten and to recruit the same amount of people as the first boycott or even more.

As they are declaring we want to bring back the prices that every simple metal fan from young age can afford.

  1. I’m not sure if it’s reasonable to ask such a thing when prices were already lowered $75.

It’s cool that the promoters did what they did – but yeah, hey, it’s obvious these shows can get that kind of money – I wanted to go see U2 in NYC and they wanted $250 for floor seats.

The promoters have a right to make money too and I don’t see how like, say Finntroll or another band compares to the price Metallica obviously takes – whatever anyone says, metal is great but no one owes it to the metalheads, for the sake of metal, to walk away with ten bucks after bringing Metallica to Israel…
