Madball – Legacy
Madball’s “Legacy” is a prime example of clean and fiery hardcore purity striving to rise above the trap of human emotion and everyday trial. With gut punching groove and staple drumbeats, Madball’s beauty is in sincerity and simplicity. With songs like “Heaven and Hell” that focus on bettering oneself, title track “Legacy” which pays respect to the New York hardcore scene, and “Darkest Days” which is, in my opinion, one of the most true love songs in existence, Madball continue to keep it real as they have since their inception in 1988. Definitely recommended.
sort of tangentally I saw AF here a few months ago, y’know when you’re 14 Vinny Stigma is a legend, when you’re 20 he’s funny, when you’re 30 he’s kind of depressing. man it sucks getting older.
