Exclusive Interview w/ Jonathan Hunt of Dead To Fall

This picture was swiped from the amazing FourteenG. However, they didn’t give me permission and are going to send me a new one with their website plastered on it. So don’t swipe pictures from them! It’s not nice!

Jonathan Hunt of Dead To Fall

This interview transpired because of a previous interview I did with Jonathan Hunt for Blistering. I was really interested in having an exchange of beliefs with him simply because the band’s second release “Villainy and Virtue” was an amazing creation, good music chock full of stuff to argue about. So be warned: it’s an interview but it’s also a debate.

Here are some choice gems from the results of this exchange.

VILLAINY AND VIRTUE: “The title track is mainly about the religious right who are so concerned with everyone else, and with promoting what they think is the truth, that they themselves fall into what they preach against. So what they think is virtue turns out to be a deceiving form of villainy. I guess I see life has having necessary evils within ourselves. You have to know where they come from, and be able to control them. But they are necessary. ”

THE HOLOCAUST: “My whole family is German, and it’s a sore subject for most Germans and will be forever I think. Or another 250 years ‘til its just history.”

PRESIDENT BUSH AND IRAQ: “There were no WMDs and no one has held Bush accountable for lying to America. He told us that he had cold hard evidence that there was WMDs in Iraq and there weren’t. So now we are stuck in a conflict that a lot of Americans are not sure we can win.”

Yalla…here’s the link…
