Cyclonus from Hyde Park posts that Blabbermouth reports –
HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta has issued the following update:
Washington Post reports that FBI agents witnessed possible mistreatment of the Koran at the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, including at least one instance in which an interrogator bragged to an FBI agent that he had forced a prisoner to listen to “Satanic black metal music for hours,” then dressed as a Catholic priest before “baptizing” him, according to bureau documents released Tuesday, Jan. 2.
That’s supposed to be torture? Wonder what’s going on with the Israeli soldiers (G-d help them) the Arabs still have. If you want to sign a petition demanding that all be done to secure their release visit Free the Soldiers.
…kinda. It’s rap, but it’s aight.

“The German metalcore band Caliban is coming to Israel for one show only. The group is signed to major label Roadrunner Records and is thought to be one of the most important bands of the genre. And they’ll be the first metalcore band to ever play in the land. Special guests of the event will be Israeli metal act Betzefer who have brought much honor to Israel and have already played with Caliban outside of the land. Also Dissonant, who will come quickly to light and are working on their second album these days.Get ready for the most cruel wall of death ever to be seen in the land!!!!!!”

Niklas Sundin shreds for Dark Tranquillity, as well as a band called Laethora. He’s also a talented graphic designer – you can see his work at Cabin Fever Media. Some of his work splices this interview. Century Media was gracious enough to hook up an interview with him in lieu of the forthcoming Dark Tranquillity EP.
Ilia Badrov from The Fading wrote many of these questions – The Fading is considered to be the next Israeli band that’s going to break internationally, so consider yourselves warned.
Old news and we didn’t hear anything more about it, but according to their official web site blog, the Portuguese metal band is currently working on arranging dates in Poland, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Greece and Israel. More details will be announced soon.
Remember, this is being written in an Hungarish accent by Bela, who runs Salatamagazin. So if the grammar’s a little different that you’re used to, I wanted to be authentic.

Here is another banger for the openminded metalheads to check out, definitely. Psycho+Logical-Records artist Mr.Hyde knows what’s up with the heavy music…
